Educator At Peace With ‘Super Hard Decision’ to Retire

It wasn’t the bittersweet final year that educators expect, so when her doctor posed the simple question - “Are you able to retire?” - Jan Meyer took a deep breath.

“Yes, but I really like my job,” she told him. “I like what I do.”
