UPROOTED

A semi-tractor trailer stopped on W. State Road 44 near Marietta Road yesterday due to a large tree lodged between the cab and trailer. The Shelby County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene around 2:25 p.m., and a nearby neighbor brought his front-end loader to the scene and succeeded in removing the object.
