Let Joe Landwerlen know that I enjoyed all of his memories of being raised in Shelbyville in the 40's, 50's and 60's. He might have spent his youth on the west side of town, but life on the south side of town at 1027 Meridian was nearly identical. Shelbyville was a great place to be young and those decades were the best for kids.
Please tell Joseph Landwerlen thank you for writing all of the stories that you have published.
I have enjoyed everyone of them. They were all so interesting and you felt like you were living
them with him. I hated to see them end, thanks again Joe. Peggy Forrest
Buddy Benches...what a brilliant and sensitive idea! Bravo!

I will certainly pass that along. I am glad he was willing to share. What a great series! - Kristiaan
